We dedicate this page to our two beautiful blue PURE SUNTOP bitches "DUSKY" and "DOTTY" who shared our lives throughout the `80`s and early `90`s.

DUSKY
This year we proudly feature 'Dusky', our foundation bitch and much loved family companion. We are thrilled that she has played a part in continuing the 'Finch' family of pure 'SUNTOPS', consistently passing on her true type, soundness and temperament, together with the lovely heads and dark expressive eyes, so typical of her breeding. We do not exhibit, but follow the progress of her progeny with great interest.
In '86 her
children, John & Sue Lynch's 'Suntop Brilliance' Res.C.C. (by
Suntop Shining Breeze), and Anne Childs' Rockfinch of Suntop
at Arnsett' & 'Peaclond Pearlfinch at Arnsett" (both
bu Sh. Ch. Arnsett Alfa) were all championship show winners.
Her grandchildren ex her daughter 'Peaclond Bluefinch' (by
Suntop Shining Breeze), our own
'Dotty', were also successful, including puppies from the last
litter sired by Sh. Ch, Amsett Dark Night, one of which
joined Christer Jansson in Sweden.
'86 saw the arrival of 'Dusky's first great-grandchildren ex Dave &Anne Lewis's 'Dotty' daughter 'Skyfinch of Suntop at Lewkins' (by Suntop True Glow). Well done 'Jenna'.
We hope all our progeny continue to give as much love and pleasure to their owners as 'Dusky' does to us and send best wishes to them all and good luck to those being campaigned in '87.
P.S. 'Dusky' and 'Dotty' are currently exploring the inland waterways system aboard our 70ft floating home, narrowboat 'GERALD'. Accompanying them on their travels are our toddler 'Joshua', baby 'Barnaby', Cornish Rex Cat 'Bolly' & Golden Guernsey goat 'Harriet' whose produce is appreciated by all aboard, Quite a crew!
